The provincial government of Quezon has officially declared a four-day ban on alcoholic beverages within all public and private burial grounds. This measure, formalized through Executive Order No. DHT-30, aims to ensure that the upcoming Undas period—encompassing All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day—is conducted in a secure, orderly, and respectful manner. Under the new directive, the possession, consumption, distribution, and commercial sale of any intoxicating drinks are strictly prohibited inside cemetery premises. Local authorities intend for this regulation to maintain peace and solemnity as families visit their departed loved ones during this traditional holiday season.
