Five individuals were successfully rescued on October 28 after becoming disoriented while hiking near the Khao Tao mountain viewpoint in Bang Lamung, Chon Buri. The hikers, consisting of two separate parties, encountered each other within the forest after losing their way during their excursion. Unable to navigate back to the Huai Luek Reservoir area, the group contacted local authorities for assistance. Officers from the Huai Yai Police Station coordinated with the Sawang Boriboon Foundation rescue team to locate the stranded visitors. The first group had traveled from Pathum Thani, while the remaining three individuals arrived from Na Jomtien.
