Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, participated in the 168th Ministerial Council meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council held in Manama. Presided over by Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif Al Zayani, the gathering included top diplomats from member nations and GCC Secretary General Jasem Albudaiwi. During the proceedings, Al Zayani underscored the principle of collective security, asserting that aggression against any individual member state constitutes a threat to the entire bloc. He explicitly denounced recent Houthi militia attacks targeting civilians and expressed the Council's firm backing for Saudi Arabia's right to implement necessary defensive measures. Beyond regional security concerns, the ministers engaged in discussions focused on enhancing collaborative efforts and expediting integration initiatives, particularly regarding logistics and infrastructure connectivity among the member countries.
