Pakistan's military media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), reported that security forces successfully eliminated five militants during an intelligence-based operation in the Washuk district of Balochistan. The operation, which took place between October 12 and 13, targeted individuals identified by the government as members of Fitna al-Hindustan, a designation used for groups Islamabad claims are supported by India. According to the official statement, authorities conducted a rapid raid that resulted in the destruction of a militant hideout. In addition to the casualties, security personnel recovered a significant quantity of weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials from the site. The federal government has previously categorized these armed groups as proxies involved in a state-sponsored campaign against Pakistan, leading to intensified security measures across the region to dismantle their operational capabilities.
