The Road Transport Department (RTD) is currently reviewing bids for the H series vehicle registration plates, which concluded on September 20. Online discussions have been sparked by reports suggesting a record-breaking bid of RM10.7 million for the H1 plate, though official confirmation remains pending. Other figures circulating on social media include bids of RM666,666 and RM555,777. The RTD is scheduled to release the verified results shortly, with successful applicants receiving notifications via email and their JPJeBid accounts within a day of the closing period. This H series, spanning from H1 to H9999, represents the final single-letter prefix series issued by the government. RTD director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli officially introduced the series earlier this month.
