The Sri Lankan Rupee experienced a marginal decline against the US Dollar across several domestic commercial banks on October 14. Selling rates for the currency fluctuated between Rs. 335 and Rs. 336. While some financial institutions like Seylan Bank and Commercial Bank maintained their previous exchange rates, others reported slight adjustments. NDB Bank recorded an increase in both buying and selling rates, moving to Rs. 326.50 and Rs. 335.50 respectively. Similarly, People’s Bank saw its buying rate rise to Rs. 326.92 and its selling rate reach Rs. 335.03. Meanwhile, Sampath Bank kept its rates steady compared to the figures observed on the previous day. These variations reflect the current trading environment for the local currency against the greenback.
