Mahmoud Najafi Arab, head of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture, stated that the private sector has ensured the consistent supply and distribution of goods despite significant wartime economic pressures. He noted that industries have faced severe damage, restricted access to international markets, and rising operational costs due to inflation. Najafi Arab emphasized that the private sector requires greater government support to navigate these difficulties. He urged the media to play a more constructive role by accurately reporting on business challenges, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, and shifting public perception of economic actors. Furthermore, he called for the media to hold officials accountable for promised reforms, transforming business obstacles into a matter of public demand to ensure long-term economic stability and growth.
