Food safety specialists in the United Arab Emirates have issued a warning regarding the common practice of serving rotisserie chicken drippings as gravy in local cafeterias. Experts explain that collecting raw juices from the base of grilling machines poses a significant health risk, potentially leading to food poisoning for consumers. To address these unsafe culinary habits, the Dubai Municipality is launching a large-scale training initiative scheduled for November 17. This event aims to educate restaurant chefs and managers on proper food handling and preparation techniques for grilled poultry. The training sessions will be conducted in multiple languages, including Arabic, English, Malayalam, Urdu, and Tagalog, to ensure widespread understanding among food service personnel across the region.
