The Prosecutor General’s Office of Kazakhstan confirmed that three citizens have been extradited from the United Arab Emirates to face criminal charges. The individuals were previously placed on an international wanted list for various offenses. One suspect is accused of orchestrating a fraudulent land scheme in Astana between 2019 and 2020, allegedly misappropriating $368,000 from a victim. A second individual is sought for his alleged involvement in a 2021 incident in Almaty, which involved robbery, hooliganism, and the infliction of severe physical injuries. The third suspect is accused of the theft of $24,200 from a Chinese national. These extraditions follow ongoing cooperation between Kazakh authorities and their Emirati counterparts to ensure that suspects facing serious criminal allegations are returned to Kazakhstan to stand trial for their reported actions.
