Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has directed the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Oleksandr Poklad, to execute a significant counter-strike after a Russian drone targeted the agency's central Kyiv office on Friday. Although the SBU chief was reportedly absent during the 3:30 p.m. incident, the strike caused visible damage and resulted in at least seven injuries, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. Zelensky characterized the attack as a major escalation and confirmed that the military would assist in orchestrating a reciprocal response. The SBU, known for conducting clandestine operations and targeting high-ranking Russian officials, remains a central figure in the ongoing conflict. As of now, the Kremlin has not issued an official statement regarding the drone operation.
