Former Melaka Chief Minister Adly Zahari has cautioned political factions regarding the importance of administrative consistency following the 16th state election. The Pakatan Harapan chairman emphasized that maintaining a stable government should be the primary objective for all parties, rather than prioritizing individual leadership ambitions. According to Adly, who currently serves as Deputy Defence Minister and is contesting the Bukit Katil seat, frequent changes in state leadership have historically disrupted governance. He argued that long-term political stability is essential for the effective implementation of development agendas and the continuity of state policies. By learning from past experiences of rapid leadership turnover, Adly believes that political entities can better ensure a reliable administration that serves the interests of the state effectively.
