Law enforcement officials in Almaty recently uncovered a concealed collection of weaponry and explosives situated near a residential property on Astrakhanskaya Street. The discovery occurred as part of the ongoing "Qaru" preventive security operation conducted by the Counter-Extremism Department alongside local district police. Recovered items include a modified TOZ-25 shotgun, a handgun-like object, various rounds of ammunition, and several grenades, including stun variants. Authorities have initiated a pre-trial investigation to determine the source of these items and the reasons behind their storage at that location. All seized materials are currently undergoing forensic analysis to assist in the official inquiry.
