Police in Uttar Pradesh have apprehended a woman and four accomplices following the illegal sale of her infant child. The mother reportedly sold the baby for 200,000 rupees and subsequently attempted to cover up the transaction by staging a kidnapping. Investigations revealed that the woman collaborated with a local doctor, Arun Kumar, and his spouse to facilitate the sale. Authorities uncovered the scheme after the complainant, who is the husband, discovered his wife's involvement in the illicit arrangement. All five individuals involved in the conspiracy are currently in police custody facing charges related to the incident.
