A 67-year-old American realtor, Arthur Layne Lundeen, has been dismissed by Long Realty in Tucson following reports of a volatile incident aboard an American Airlines flight on September 3. During the journey, Lundeen allegedly engaged in a series of racist and homophobic verbal attacks against others on the plane. His behavior became so disruptive that flight crew members were forced to restrain him to his seat using zip ties and duct tape. In a statement released on September 6, Long Realty confirmed that they had severed all ties with the individual, noting that his actions were entirely inconsistent with the firm's standards of ethics and professional conduct. The company clarified that Lundeen, who worked as an independent contractor, is no longer authorized to represent their business and expressed solidarity with the passengers and crew impacted by the disturbance.
