Minister Zhuldyz Suleimenova announced the formation of a specialized commission tasked with analyzing the feasibility of this structural change. The initiative follows ongoing discussions regarding the educational framework utilized by Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, which currently operate on a twelve-year model featuring extended daily schedules and supplemental instruction. Officials are now examining the compatibility of existing academic content to see if it can be successfully integrated into a shorter timeframe. The ministry aims to assess whether the core requirements of the longer program can be maintained while reducing the total number of grades, potentially shifting the national standard back to the traditional eleven-year duration.
