A 70-year-old woman identified as Wandee was killed in a violent dog attack at her residence in the Nawamin area of Bangkok on September 9. Authorities discovered the victim inside her home suffering from extensive bite injuries to her face, neck, and arms. The animal involved, a seven-year-old male pit bull named Giant, remained inside the property and exhibited aggressive behavior, forcing police to wait for animal control specialists to secure the dog before they could safely enter the premises. Reports indicate that this incident marks the second time the dog has been involved in a fatal mauling.
