Saudi Arabia’s Business Confidence Index experienced a marginal increase in August 2026, climbing to 56.7 points from 56.5 points in the preceding month. This upward trend reflects sustained positive sentiment regarding national economic activity. Growth was primarily fueled by the industrial and services sectors. Specifically, the industrial sector index improved to 55.8 points, bolstered by favorable outlooks on company performance and hiring trends. Similarly, the services sector rose to 56.1 points, supported by increased optimism surrounding operational results and capital expenditure. Conversely, the construction sector saw a minor downturn during the same period. The data indicates that despite the slight contraction in construction, the broader business environment remains resilient as key sectors continue to demonstrate expansionary confidence levels.
