The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has announced that a low-pressure zone is expected to emerge over the southeastern Bay of Bengal near October 13. This weather system is projected to trigger light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms, accompanied by intermittent gusty winds across various regions. Specifically, the Rajshahi, Rangpur, and Mymensingh divisions are likely to experience these conditions in several areas, while isolated parts of Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet may also see precipitation. Some locations might encounter moderately heavy rainfall. Despite the incoming weather activity, national day and night temperatures are anticipated to increase marginally. Furthermore, the meteorological office confirmed that the southwest monsoon has officially retreated from the country.
