Intermittent rain and thundershowers are anticipated across the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Central, and North-western provinces, with certain locations potentially experiencing rainfall exceeding 75 mm. Furthermore, residents in specific districts, including Trincomalee, Hambantota, and Matale, should prepare for gusty winds reaching speeds of 30 to 40 kmph. Authorities have advised the public to exercise caution regarding potential lightning strikes and localized wind damage during these stormy conditions.
