A new puppet opera titled 'Love' premiered at Tehran's Ferdowsi Hall on Sunday, October 12, 2026. The production, which received backing from the Rudaki Foundation, was conceptualized, authored, and directed by Behrouz Gharibpour. The performance draws its narrative inspiration from 'The Conference of the Birds' (Mantiq al-Tayr), a renowned literary work by the 12th-century Persian poet Farid al-Din Attar of Nishapur. The event showcases a creative adaptation of classical Persian literature through the medium of puppetry.
