Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi officially inaugurated the construction of a new flyover located at the junction of Ring Road and GT Road in Peshawar. This infrastructure project, valued at 6.2 billion rupees, aims to alleviate persistent traffic congestion at a major urban intersection where commercial vehicles frequently converge. The development plan encompasses a 640-meter dual-carriageway flyover alongside the creation of a 4.5-kilometer road segment. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister emphasized that this initiative is a vital component of the provincial government's broader strategy to modernize Peshawar's transportation network. He further highlighted that this project reflects an ongoing commitment to accelerating urban development throughout the capital city, addressing long-standing issues with the existing traffic infrastructure.
