The Delhi High Court has recommended that Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, leaders of the Cockroach Janta Party, remove social media content regarding Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia. This suggestion arose during proceedings for a defamation lawsuit filed by Bhatia against the pair and party founder Abhijeet Dipke. The legal action stems from an image posted on X on September 5, which allegedly used artificial intelligence to misrepresent Bhatia's comments about Swatantra Bhardwaj, an individual arrested following protests at Jantar Mantar. Bhatia claims the post falsely attributed derogatory remarks to him. The court expressed concern over the lack of verification before sharing such content and encouraged the defendants to delete the posts of their own volition.
