A 30-year-old Chinese national admitted guilt on Wednesday, September 9, to charges stemming from an incident at her former boyfriend's residence in Singapore. The woman faced accusations of using force to hinder a public servant's duties and an additional charge under the Miscellaneous Act (Public Order and Nuisance), which will be considered during her sentencing. The event transpired on October 13, 2024, at a mansion located on Swettenham Road. Reports indicate that the suspect and her ex-partner had been in a relationship from September 2023 until April 2024. On the day of the occurrence, the ex-boyfriend contacted authorities, reporting that his home's doors and windows were unsecured and that the woman had entered without permission. During her apprehension, she reportedly attempted to seize a police officer's firearm with the intention of self-harm.
