The Department of Youth Development has rescheduled the recruitment examination for assistant upazila youth development officers to October 16, following a cancellation caused by a suspected question paper leak. The one-hour test is slated to begin at 3:00 pm. In response to the incident, the Ministry of Youth and Sports established a five-member inquiry panel, which is expected to deliver its findings within three working days. The initial cancellation occurred on Saturday, affecting approximately 300,000 candidates who had traveled to Dhaka to compete for 242 available positions. These jobseekers encountered significant logistical challenges and financial burdens regarding travel and lodging when the exam was called off at the last minute. Director of Administration DM Atikur Rahman confirmed the updated schedule.
