A coalition of eight countries, including the UAE, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, has officially endorsed the United Kingdom's recent move to prohibit imports originating from illegal Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. The policy also includes new limitations on services associated with these settlements. In a collective statement, the foreign ministers of these nations expressed their desire for this measure to encourage broader international action in accordance with global legal standards, aiming to hold entities and individuals involved in settlement activities responsible. Furthermore, the ministers acknowledged a separate joint declaration regarding the two-state solution, supported by various Western nations, which outlines intentions to implement or back trade restrictions on settlement-produced goods at both national and European levels.
