Various Filipino advocacy groups operating in the Netherlands are calling for the immediate apprehension of Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa. Representatives from the Panagutin Netherlands Network and Bagong Alyansang Makabayan Netherlands argue that the former national police chief must be presented before the International Criminal Court in The Hague. These organizations contend that Dela Rosa, as a primary architect of the previous administration's anti-drug campaign, should be held legally accountable for his actions. Activists emphasized that the pursuit of justice should extend beyond former President Rodrigo Duterte, noting that Dela Rosa had previously expressed a willingness to face imprisonment. The groups are now urging the senator to honor those past statements and submit to international legal proceedings regarding his role in the drug war.
