The fifth annual FII PRIORITY Compass report, released by the Future Investment Initiative Institute, identifies the rising cost of living as the most significant global issue for the fifth consecutive year. Based on data from over 61,000 adults across 32 nations, the study indicates that financial instability is increasingly hindering household goals and family planning. Alongside inflation, respondents highlighted poverty, social inequality, and unemployment as critical challenges. Princess Dr. Maha bint Mishari bin Abdulaziz, CEO of the FII Institute, noted that these persistent economic pressures are shaping public sentiment and influencing daily decision-making processes. The comprehensive research also examined shifting levels of public trust and evolving expectations regarding technological advancements, underscoring a widespread sense of unmet needs across diverse populations.
