Hong Kong secured a place in the ACC Premier Cup semifinals after a 15-run victory over Nepal. Batting first, Hong Kong reached a total of 261 for 7, largely due to an unbeaten 117-run performance by Babar Hayat, who partnered with Ehsan Khan to recover from a precarious 133-7 position. In response, Nepal was dismissed for 246 runs in 49.1 overs. Despite a notable 90-run contribution from Ishan Pandey and support from Asif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airee, Karan KC, and Gulshan Jha, the team fell short of the target. Ejaz Khan led the Hong Kong bowling attack with four wickets, while Yasim Murtaza claimed two. This result led to the elimination of Malaysia from the tournament.
