India and Sri Lanka recently convened their initial cyber-security consultations in Colombo to strengthen bilateral cooperation regarding digital governance. The discussions centered on addressing modern threats, particularly those linked to artificial intelligence, while exploring strategies for cyber crisis management and institutional capacity building. This initiative aligns with the ongoing partnership between the two nations concerning digitalization and emerging technologies. The Indian delegation, led by CERT-In Director General Dr. Sanjay Bahl and Ministry of External Affairs official Amit Shukla, engaged with Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Eranga Weeraratne.
