Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has publicly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) administration in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During a press conference held in Islamabad, Tarar claimed that the provincial government is failing to address essential public welfare, security, and development needs. He alleged that the leadership, including Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, has prioritized efforts to secure the release of the party's imprisoned founder rather than focusing on administrative duties. Tarar further contended that despite the PTI holding power in the province for over thirteen years, the current administration has dedicated negligible time to effective governance. The minister was accompanied by Ikhtiar Wali Khan and Jalal Khan during his remarks, which highlighted a perceived abandonment of official responsibilities in favor of internal political objectives.
