Former US President Donald Trump recently stated that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has consistently avoided reaching a negotiated settlement to end the ongoing conflict. Speaking to reporters near Washington, Trump suggested that a resolution could have been achieved previously and argued that Zelensky would have secured more favorable terms two years ago. The former president expressed his belief that the Russian leadership remains open to engaging in discussions to finalize an agreement. Trump also addressed inquiries regarding potential diplomatic efforts involving his associates Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, reiterating his perspective that the current Ukrainian administration is not interested in pursuing a deal.
