Iranian officials are currently reviewing a correspondence sent by US Vice President JD Vance as international efforts to resolve the eight-month conflict intensify. Mohsen Rezaei, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, acknowledged receiving the message and noted a significant shift in the American diplomatic approach, which he characterized as a positive development. While Rezaei confirmed he has analyzed the document, he has not yet provided a formal reply and refrained from sharing specific details due to the private nature of the communication. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi labeled the recent US outreach as constructive, though he dismissed the possibility of an immediate direct meeting between representatives of the two nations. Iranian negotiators are presently engaged in discussions with Qatari mediators in Doha to facilitate progress toward a potential peace agreement.
