Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Sunday that military action cannot resolve the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel. Following months of intensive aerial campaigns that failed to achieve a definitive outcome, Washington has shifted its strategy toward economic sanctions. Tensions remain high regarding the Strait of Hormuz, a critical energy shipping route, where a tanker was recently hit by an unidentified projectile. Araghchi warned that any further escalation by adversaries would be met with a more robust defensive response from Tehran. The diplomat emphasized that the current diplomatic efforts to resolve the hostilities appear to be stalled, reiterating Iran's stance that a peaceful resolution is necessary while maintaining readiness for potential future confrontations.
