Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has publicly opposed the implementation of military operations and drone strikes within his province. During a protest march that reached the Karak district, Afridi insisted that policies impacting local residents must be determined within the province rather than through opaque, private negotiations. Addressing supporters at the Bannu-Karak border, the Chief Minister framed the ongoing movement as a national cause rather than one limited to the Pashtun population. He praised the endurance of the participants and drew a parallel between his stance and the rhetoric of PTI founder Imran Khan, asserting that he has firmly rejected the authority of those making decisions behind closed doors. The march is scheduled to continue its progression on Monday.
