Kazakhstan's presidential office has confirmed that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is scheduled for upcoming diplomatic trips to India and South Korea. On September 12 and 13, Tokayev will travel to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to participate in the 18th BRICS Summit. During this working visit, the President is slated to address a plenary session focused on themes of stability, innovation, and cooperation within the BRICS+ framework. His itinerary in New Delhi also features bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Modi and various other international leaders. Following his engagements in India, the President will proceed to the Republic of Korea for a state visit. These diplomatic missions aim to strengthen international ties and represent Kazakhstan's interests on the global stage.
