The South Korean Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday that a second emergency relief team is scheduled to travel to Nepal this week. This deployment comes as the Himalayan nation transitions its primary efforts from immediate search and rescue operations toward long-term recovery following severe flooding. The eight-person delegation, which includes medical professionals, firefighters, and representatives from the Korea International Cooperation Agency and the Foreign Ministry, is set to arrive in Nepal on Friday. The team will be transported via a military KC-330 aircraft to provide specialized support during this critical post-disaster phase.
