According to the Eurasian Development Bank's (EDB) September Macroeconomic Outlook, Kazakhstan's economy is demonstrating robust growth and a strong position, even as global borrowing conditions become more restrictive. The nation's moderate public debt and substantial external reserves are enhancing its capacity to engage with international capital markets. Experts from the EDB noted continued economic expansion this year, with the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increasing by 4.1% year-on-year between January and July. The non-oil sector was a primary driver, expanding by 5.4%. Significant growth was observed in construction (15.3%), manufacturing (9%), transport and warehousing (7.4%), and trade (5.9%). The report highlighted that the rise in output from the non-resource sector was a crucial element of this economic advancement. Furthermore, investment activity remained vigorous, with fixed capital investment rising 7.7% over the year.
