The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) plans to submit six resolutions from the recent Fifth National Research Conference on Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption to the Special Cabinet Committee on National Governance. Chief Commissioner Datuk Seri Abd Halim Aman stated that the objective is to move beyond theoretical discussions and implement practical systemic enhancements to prevent corruption. Among the key proposals is the creation of a unified National Grant Governance Framework. Additionally, the commission aims to establish specific regulations concerning public-private partnership procurement. These measures were highlighted during the agency's 59th-anniversary event in Putrajaya, where officials emphasized the importance of turning conference findings into actionable government policy to improve national integrity standards.
