The Saudi Ministry of Finance has released its preliminary budget outlook for the 2027 fiscal year. Officials anticipate total expenditures of SR1,392 billion against revenues of SR1,202 billion, resulting in a projected deficit equivalent to 3.6 percent of the nation's gross domestic product. This fiscal strategy aims to harmonize the promotion of economic expansion with the ongoing execution of national development goals and long-term financial stability. The report highlights that the Kingdom’s economic reforms under Vision 2030 have successfully fostered a more diverse economic landscape. By improving the domestic business climate and empowering the private sector, these initiatives have bolstered non-oil activities, which remain a primary driver for sustained growth across the country.
