Simultaneously, authorities suspended the licence of an Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation-affiliated kitchen in the city. Officials discovered live cockroaches within food processing zones and observed that meals were being prepared in close proximity to exposed waste. These enforcement measures are part of a broader, ongoing initiative across the state to address and penalize violations of established food safety standards at various dining and catering facilities.
