This commitment follows a telephone conversation with his Yemeni counterpart, Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba, regarding the ongoing civil war. The conflict has caused significant suffering for the Yemeni population, leading to severe food shortages and difficulties in accessing essential goods. Mohamad Hasan emphasized that Malaysia is prepared to join relief efforts and provide aid within its capacity. Furthermore, he called upon all factions involved in the hostilities to prioritize diplomatic dialogue and return to negotiations to resolve the long-standing crisis.
