In the latest Nepal Premier League action, Janakpur Bolts captain Harmeet Singh confirmed that New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham will miss the match against Kathmandu Gorkhas due to personal reasons. Saif Hassan has been selected to replace him in the lineup, while Amar Singh Rautela also enters the squad in place of Aditya Mahato. Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Gorkhas are preparing for their tournament debut under the leadership of captain Karan KC. The team is currently missing high-profile Australian signing David Warner, who has not yet reached Nepal, and all-rounder Will Bosisto. Despite these absences, the Gorkhas have included Australian player Sam Heazlett, US wicketkeeper Smit Patel, Bangladeshi bowler Ripon Mondol, and Pakistani all-rounder Jahandad Khan in their starting eleven for the opening fixture.
