Netflix has officially confirmed the production of the second and third seasons of the medical drama series The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. These upcoming installments will be filmed concurrently. While lead actors Ju Ji-hoon and Choo Young-woo are returning to portray surgeon Baek Gang-hyeok and his trainee Yang Jae-won respectively, there is a notable change in the main cast. Jung Ye-in, formerly of the girl group Lovelyz, has been selected to play the role of veteran nurse Cheon Jang-mi. She replaces Ahn Ha-young, who previously occupied the position within the show's core trio. This announcement marks a significant expansion for the popular streaming platform's medical franchise as it prepares for the next phases of the narrative.
