During the third session of the Artificial Intelligence Development Council in Astana, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed the disconnect between innovative AI projects and their practical application in industrial sectors. He emphasized that bridging this gap requires collaborative efforts between researchers, tech firms, and startups. Tokayev advocated for the AI Challenge framework to engage young talent and digital nomads, stressing that project formats must be tailored to specific operational needs. He highlighted the necessity of providing teams with adequate data, computing power, and infrastructure. Furthermore, the President insisted that clients must maintain active involvement throughout the development cycle to ensure that proposed solutions are rigorously tested and validated within actual production environments before full-scale implementation.
