The Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed that a Flydubai flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Tabuk on Wednesday after a physical confrontation occurred between the flight crew. According to official reports, the co-pilot attacked the captain while the aircraft was in the air, leading to injuries for both individuals. Saudi authorities collaborated with a security team from the United Arab Emirates to conduct an initial investigation into the incident. Once medical professionals determined that both pilots were stable and fit for travel, they were cleared to leave the kingdom. On Thursday, the two men were transported to Abu Dhabi under the escort of Emirati security personnel. The flight had been diverted to Saudi territory specifically to address the emergency situation caused by the dispute between the pilots.
