Prime Minister Tarique Rahman officially launched the Solar Expo-2026 on Tuesday morning at the Bangladesh-China Friendship International Conference Centre located in Agargaon. Operating under the theme of maximizing rooftop space to boost income via solar energy, the event features a tour of various technology stalls by the Prime Minister. This collaborative exhibition is hosted by the Power Division, the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, and the Infrastructure Development Company Limited. The event serves as a platform for government officials, industry entrepreneurs, and financial institutions to discuss advancements in renewable energy. Key topics addressed during the expo include current government incentives, sustainable technological solutions, and various tax and tariff advantages available for green energy projects.
