During the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Qatar reiterated its dedication to collaborating with international partners to advance the Doha Programme of Action. This initiative, spanning from 2022 to 2031, serves as a strategic framework designed to foster sustainable growth within the world's least developed countries. Representing Qatar, Abdulaziz Yousef Jolo emphasized that the program has arrived at a pivotal moment as nations grapple with significant obstacles, including climate change, food insecurity, rising debt levels, and ongoing conflicts. By participating in the Second Committee’s discussions on groups of countries in special situations, Qatar underscored its ongoing pledge to provide necessary assistance to these vulnerable economies to ensure they meet their developmental goals over the coming decade.
