Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed Saida Mirziyoyeva, the head of the Presidential Administration, as the manager of the Tashkent International Financial Center. She will maintain her current government role while taking on these new responsibilities. Her mandate includes overseeing the center's launch, coordinating between state agencies, and managing international relations with investors and global organizations. Additionally, she holds authority over personnel appointments, the formation of working groups, and the signing of agreements. The financial center, established by a constitutional law passed in July, is designed to operate under a distinct legal and regulatory framework, featuring its own commercial court and long-term tax benefits for participants extending until 2076.
