Sanrio, the Japanese company behind the Hello Kitty brand, officially announced the cancellation of its partnership with the television drama VIVANT. On October 29, the firm stated on its website that all promotional activities and future projects linked to the series have been halted immediately. This decision follows concerns raised by the public regarding the content of the show, which the company concluded did not align with its core corporate values. Sanrio issued an apology for the distress caused by the association and confirmed that it intends to implement more rigorous review processes for all upcoming business collaborations to ensure they meet the company's standards.
