The Sarawak state administration has pledged a financial contribution of RM100,000 to the families of each individual affected by the recent Flying Doctor Service helicopter accident in Long Lellang. According to an official announcement from the Sarawak Public Communications Unit, Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg authorized this support to alleviate the financial strain on the bereaved relatives. Furthermore, the Sarawak Foundation will undertake the responsibility of covering all educational expenses for the victims' school-aged children. This initiative serves as a gesture of gratitude for the dedication shown by the personnel who provided essential medical services to remote communities. The state government emphasized that this assistance reflects their commitment to supporting the families during this difficult period following the tragic incident.
